Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
If you are put on a repeat medication by the doctor there is no need to make an appointment every time. The doctor will tell you when you need a review.
There are several ways for you to request your repeat prescription (no earlier than one week before your medication runs out):
- Using your NHS account (through the NHS website or in the NHS App)
- Using an online consultation form on the Contact Us page on our website.
- Email your request to the surgery on nclicb.oaklodge.prescriptions@nhs.net
- Via your nominated pharmacist/chemist
The NHS account shows all your repeat medications and dosages, allowing you to choose the ones you need.
We do not take repeat prescription requests over the phone.
We aim to have repeat prescriptions ready within 2 working days, but please allow some time for your request to be processed efficiently.
Your prescription will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy via EPS (Electronic Prescribing Service) for collection directly from the pharmacy or delivery according to your personal arrangements with the pharmacy.
